We are proud to announce that we have today agreed a partnership in Ireland with the Director of Communications and Legal for Rugby Players Ireland, Richard McElwee.
We will be working with Richard to expand our services into Ireland and, most excitingly for us, we will be visiting Dublin in the week commending 6th February 2023 when we will be delivering presentations, meeting a host of our friends and contacts in Ireland and, hopefully, recording an Irish special of our Football Journeys podcast.
If you are based in the Dublin area and you would like to meet with any of us, we all plan to make the trip and hope that we can continue to spread our message of positivity while we are guests in Richard’s fine country.
Having been called to the Bar in Ireland in 2013, Richard transitioned into the world of sport where he has married his keen interests in law and communications through his work with the Irish rugby players’ union. He has a special interest, as do we, in online communication and mental health issues in sport and obtained an Advanced Diploma in Social Media and Media Law in 2021. This interview with the Irish Examiner confirms that he and B5 are very much aligned in our outlook.
Ireland is a crucial location for the battleground for positive change online with Apple, Meta, Twitter all having their European head offices in Ireland. We plan to work with Richard to assist clients and also to continue our campaign to make the online world a safer place.
