Prior to the sporting social media boycott on the May Bank Holiday weekend it was an opportunity for our Associate Director Leigh Nicol to discuss the real, and daily, abuse she receives. In speaking out, and supporting the boycott, it is a small step in the continuing fight against the hate that exists and lingers online. It came in a week that we visited (virtually via Zoom) a primary school to discuss being patient, being safe and being kind online and also comes the week before our B5 meeting in London during which we are discussing strategy for taking action against those individuals who continue to harass and seek to harm Leigh online.
